Back to news list January 2007 Welsh premium crisps manufacturer Real Crisps, is launching its Chip n’ Dip concept in February 2007. The product is a new snacking concept, which provides 45g of Real Crisps with a delicious Dip in the same tray. There are 2 varieties, Lightly Salted Crisps with Salsa Dip and Lightly Salted Crisps with Honey-Mustard Dip. The product retails at £1.39 and already looks like being a big hit with pubs. Already famous in Chip n ‘Dip features Salsa Dip which is the most popular dip variety and also Honey-Mustard Dip, not yet well known in the UK but hugely popular in the USA. John Mudd Sales & Marketing Director explains… “We wanted to offer a top quality product with exciting Dips. Consumer research tells us that the two Dip varieties in the range are well accepted by consumers. Our Salsa fared well against competitive Salsas and we believe we are first to market with a Honey-Mustard dip. If Chip’n’Dip is as successful as we expect, we’ll add to the range with other new and exciting ideas.” Chipping & Dipping
