Valentine’s Day Bags of Character Giveaway Terms

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

a. This promotion is run by Tayto Group Ltd. (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

a. Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
b. Employees of Tayto Group Ltd., its subsidiaries, associated agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

a. To enter, participants must:
i. Follow the official @realhandcooked Instagram account; and
ii. Tag another user in the comments of the competition post.
b. Each tagged comment counts as a separate entry.
c. Participants may enter multiple times, provided each entry is submitted as a separate comment tagging a different user.
d. Automated, bulk, or third-party entries will be disqualified.

4. Competition Dates

a. Opens: 30th January at 11:00am
b. Closes: 9th February at 9:00am
i. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be counted.

5. Prize

a. One (1) winner will receive one (1) personalised “Bag of Character” prize, consisting of:
i. One (1) customised tote bag featuring an image of the winner and
their chosen partner; and
ii. A selection of REAL Hand Cooked crisps.
b. Crisp flavours included in the prize may vary and are subject to availability.
c. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
d. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or any element of it with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Personalisation, Images & Permissions

a. To fulfil the personalised prize, the winner will be required to provide suitable photographs of themselves and their chosen partner.
b. No photoshoot is included as part of the prize. Images must be supplied by the winner.
c. The winner confirms that they have obtained the full permission and consent of their chosen partner for their image to be used for prize personalisation.
d. By submitting images, the winner confirms that both individuals featured consent to their images being used solely for the purpose of producing the personalised tote bag.
e. Images will not be used for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes beyond prize fulfilment unless additional explicit consent is obtained.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

a. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the promotional period.
b. The winner will be contacted via direct message from the official @realhandcooked Instagram account only.
c. The Promoter will never ask winners for payment, bank details, or sensitive financial information.
d. The winner must respond within 5 working days of being contacted. If no response is received, an alternative winner may be selected.

8. Platform Disclaimer

a. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

9. Data Handling

a. By entering, participants consent to Tayto Group Ltd. and its agencies contacting them via direct message solely for the administration and fulfilment of this promotion.
b. Personal data will be used only for competition management and prize fulfilment and will not be used for marketing purposes unless explicit consent has been provided.
c. Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

10. General

a. Tayto Group Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend this promotion in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
b. By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
